Under all these challenging
circumstances, project managers are
easy to feel themselves under the
spotlight and their leadership skills
undergo an uncomfortable pressure
test.
The successful project manager is able
to keep cold in front of uncertainty and
drive the team in the right direction
despite the context evolves towards
unexpected scenarios.
It has to be stressed that the maximum
result to be achieved when a change
order is formalized between the
concerned parties is not necessarily an
increase of productivity.
There is no doubt. The greater is the
entity of the change, the wider could
be the advantage brought to the
project numbers.
However, the more complex is an order
variation, the greater is the risk to loose T&C: Terms & Conditions
grip on the stakeholders for conflicts.
The experienced project manager
looks at an amendment of the
contract not only from a commercial
standpoint but also as an opportunity
to strengthen the relationship with the
involved stakeholders.
Our experience tells us that, in assisting
our customers to keep complex project
on the route, we are running the extra
mile which makes the difference with
our competitors and setting the ground
for a solid partnership for the future.
