Europe 2020

Roberto Mori Among the many reasons of interest Project
Past President IPMA Managers can find in Expo 2015 exhibition, the
occasion for international dialogue gives rise to
events on the dramatic challenges and related
projects to secure a sustainable environment: on 19th
June the Last Call to Europe 2020 represented a
great opportunity to meet with some of the most
advanced European and international enterprises
committed to achieve a more equitable and
sustainable Europe. European Commission
representatives, CSR Europe members, Business
Organization Presidents and CEOs have brought their
experience.
During the conference, CSR Europe has launched
the “Milan Manifesto – Enterprise 2020”, a strategic
direction of how the over 10,000 European
enterprises committed to sustainability can work
together to support the Europe 2020 goals. The
Manifesto has been authoritatively described as one
of the most ambitious initiatives in last 50 years to
address the future of Europe through practical
business-led solutions.
Three workshops have concluded the conference,
during which the project management
competences have been recalled as strategic skills.
