National Final of Italian IPMA Project Management Championship took place on May 12, 2023 in Florence, organized in collaboration with Baker Hughes.

Focusing on nowadays sustainability issue, students’ teams had to solve out a business case titled “Carbon Capture” acting like the Project Management Team responsible to deliver a feasability study about the decarbonisation of a coal plant through CO2 capture. Students teams had to elaborate a project charter, anilyse risks, identify the involved stakeholders to present their solution to the Company Management.

At the end of the day the Jury announced the winning team from Politecnico of Milano:

• Antonino Sgroi
• Pavel Voropaev

The winning team is going to represent Italy at the International IPMC Final in Spain (Valencia) on June 2-3, 2023.

A special thanks to Baker Hughes, who hosted and organized the event together with Young Crew Italy, giving to students the opportunity to learn and improve their personal and professional skills.
