On May 12, 2018 the National Final of Italian IPMA Project Management Championship took place at Siemens Italia headquarter in Milan.

“Innovation 4.0 in the Yachting Industry” was the case study that all students’ teams were asked to solve out finding an innovative solution to improve the company offer for this business sector. Students had to explain challenges, risks and opportunities and find benefits for their stakeholder.

A special thanks to Siemens that hosted the event and organized a case study that allowed students to improve their personal and professional skills. It has been a great success, all students were enthusiastic in participating in this experience and glad to have this opportunity.

Each team presented its solution in front of the Jury composed by: Ermanno Delogu, GM Process Solutions Business Unit for Siemens and Member of IPMA Italy Board Commette; Cristiano Rossi, Head of Compensation & Benefits for Siemens, Massimo Tresoldi, Head of Quality Management and PMO for Siemens; Giuseppe Pugliese, Head of Certification for ANIMP/IPMA Italy and Silvia Cattaneo, President of IPMA Young Crew Italy.

Here are the first three team classified:

1° Place

Michele Aloisio, Matheus Bismarck Penque, Mattia Manelli and Luca Rossetto.

2° Place

Francesco Maio, Chiara Napoli, Giulia Prestifilippo and Elisa Serra.

University: Politecnico di Torino

3° Place

Anna Bertani, Diyan Duchev, Marco Magnani and Chiara Pasinetti

University: Politecnico di Milano

The winning team is going to represent Italy at the International Final that will be hold in Belgrade (Serbia) between June 1-3, 2018.
